I'm not big on reality television. Truth be told, I don't understand why others are endlessly fascinated by it, but when it crosses over into the sports world FanHouse stands by to pass along the news.Apparently last night was the season finale of Age of Love, a Bachelor-style dating program where Mr. Right was forced to choose somebody from two groups of women. The twist here: One group of women was composed of contestants in their 20s, the other with contestants in their 40s.
Get it? Age of love.
In any case, last night 30-year old tennis pro and multi-millionaire Mark Philippoussis tossed the 40-something over the side in favor of 26-year old Amanda Salinas, who also works as a "Goal Girl" for the Nashville Predators.
Combined with the recent success of their season ticket drive and the emergence of a local ownership group that seems committed to keeping the team in town, it's clear that things are looking up for Nashville.
Hat tip to Rob Yunich.

I thought the entire show just cheapened his image, I didn't need to see him make out with 3 or 4 girls a week
