Canucks, Blackhawks in Epic Brawl

Vancouver's Roberto Luongo turned aside 26 shots to earn his seventh shutout of the season in Sunday's 4-0 win over Chicago, but the highlight of the game was the epic line brawl that erupted at the 5:50 mark of the third period.

It all started when Chicago's Dustin Byfuglien gave Luongo a jab to the head, which then boiled over into an MMA style rumble, highlighted by Ben Eager and Kevin Bieksa body-slamming each other. The brawl resulted in 80 penalty minutes, including six 10-minute misconducts.

It's also worth pointing out that in a season of bizarre fighting practices, Vancouver's Alex Burrows decided to introduce hair-pulling at the 1:23 mark. We've now seen it all, folks.

As a result of Vancouver's win, the two teams are now tied for the No. 4 spot in the Western Conference and are on a collision course to meet in the opening round of the playoffs. After seeing this, I'm certainly looking forward to it.
