Well, that was an exciting round of postseason hockey, wasn't it? Even with the anti-climax between the Penguins and Capitals, the second round was saturated with competitive action. Our predictions race is no different. After the second round, there's a logjam at the top, where four of our writers sit with an 8-4 record.
Which two teams do we each see competing for the Cup? Find out after the jump.

I really don't want to see my Wings play another Finals against the Pens. I'd rather see us and Canes but... I don't think the Canes have what it takes to stop Crosby and Malkin. Then again... I didn't think they had what it took to beat Thomas or Brodeur. So who knows.

gotta love how red wing fans think this series is instant win. sure red wings will probably win the series but if hawks win i'll be laughing my head off just because how bullheaded red fans get to many wins and titles will do that i guess.

The hawks are a young team and have alot of potential. I wouldn't count them out. And I definately wouln't say my canes can't to crybabys pens. I think both games will be hard fought. I would actually like to see the hawks and canes. Nothing against the wings mind you. Just think it would prove to be an excellent series.

the wings have a better team than the blackhawks, however we can't rule out the intangible, which is scotty and his knowlege of the red wing players that he helped develop into stanley cup champions. this does have many wing fans a little edgy.

The Wings are still chippin, and "The Mule" keeps kicking. GO WINGS IN ROUND 3!!!! Lind-say the Wings are Cleary Osgood, Igor and Abel....and Howe!!! And Dats Jiri Kocur. Used to be "The Professor" and Stevie's Wonders, now its Hoss and "The Mule", which leads to Franzen Moments. Might there be an Ullman in this Hall????
