The NHL handed out its annual awards on Thursday, recognizing the best performances in the league this year. After the jump, the full list of winners from the ceremony in Las Vegas.

Lester B. Pearson Award (most outstanding player as voted by the NHLPA): Alex Ovechkin, Washington Capitals

Bill Masterson Memorial Trophy (outstanding perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to hockey): Steve Sullivan, Nashville Predators

Jack Adams Award (coach of the year): Claude Julien, Boston Bruins

Frank J. Selke Trophy (best defensive forward): Pavel Datsyuk, Detroit Red Wings

Lady Byng Memorial Trophy (best sportsmanship): Pavel Datsyuk, Detroit Red Wings

Calder Memorial Trophy (rookie of the year): Steve Mason, Columbus Blue Jackets

Vezina Trophy (goaltender of the year): Tim Thomas, Boston Bruins

James Norris Memorial Trophy (defenseman of the year): Zdeno Chara, Boston Bruins

Hart Memorial Trophy (league MVP): Alex Ovechkin, Washington Capitals

WHAT ANIGHT FOR THE BOSTON BRUINS AND THEIR FANS IN VEGAS. JULIEN GETS THE ADAMS AS BEST COACH.CHARA FINALLY GETS THE NORRIS, AS BEST " DEFENSE' MAN IN THE LEAGUE. AND THOMAS AND MANNY FERNANDEZ AS JENNINGS WINNER. AND LASTLY,TIM "THE TANK" GETTING THE VEIZNA, AS THE BEST GOALTENDER IN THE NHL. HE WAS SO VERY HUMBLE ABOUT RECEIVING IT TOO. YOU COULD TELL HE WAS GETTING CHOKED UP. NEXT YEAR WILL BE THE BRUINS YEAR TO WIN LORD STANLEY AND CARRY IT THROUGH CAUSEWAY STREET. CONGRATULATIONS TO ,CHARA,THOMAS, FERNANDEZ AND JULIEN AND TO THE WHOLE BRUINS TEAM AND ORGANAZATION YOU GUYS HAD AHELL OF AYEAR,HOLD YOUR HEADS VERY,VERY HIGH.

Boston Bruins history of bad luck and losing will continue probably forever this was their year and once again they blew it Lord Stanley just hates Bean Town and I don't blame him lol

I think it's cool how dedicated the Boston fans are but man look how long it took for the Sox to win I was a Bruins fan for the longest time but when Mario and the Pens beat them in the playoffs to win the cup I was like wow he is a great player that's when I became a Pens fan and now look at them, I use to live in Beantown for many years now in Florida and route for the Penguins!!!
