Nine-Year-Old Oliver Wahlstrom Scores Incredible Shootout Goal in Boston

Oliver Wahlstrom is a nine-year-old forward for the Portland Junior Pirates, a Pee Wee team in Portland, Maine. During the TD Bank's mini 1-on-1 challenge in Boston, Wahlstrom unleashed a stick-whirling, highlight-reel goal that stunned a motionless goaltender who could do nothing but freeze, and watch in amazement.

It might be the best goal you'll see all season, and it's even more impressive when you consider it's a nine-year-old doing it.

Video after the jump.

The poor goalie, he had no idea what to do. According to Greg Wyshynski at Puck Daddy, the Portland Junior Pirates are a team of mostly 12-year-olds, and the nine-year-old Wahlstrom is playing against older competition.

This kid was obviously watching the moves of former Springfield Falcon (AHL), and current New York Islander, Rob Schremp.

Below, Oliver talks about the shot on CBS' The Early Show.
