We get to know NHL players with five quick questions. Today's subject: Cal Clutterbuck, who set an NHL record for hits last season while irritating Don Cherry along the way.
What is your earliest hockey memory?
Pushing a chair around the rink in Welland, Ontario, with my mom. It was public skating.
What is your favorite thing about playing in the NHL?
Probably would say just getting to live out my dream. Not many people get to do that. That and playing in Minnesota.
What is your least favorite thing about playing in the NHL?
That's a tough one. I'm going to say the grind of the season. The schedule's pretty tough. We play a lot of games, and it's hard on the body.
Who in the NHL would you like to get a good, hard, clean check on?
Alex Burrows.
Why?
Because I don't like him.
Who on your team would you want to be and why?
Petr Sykora. Because I'd want to know what it's like to sit right beside me in the dressing room.

Watching the Wild again tonight and as much as I am a Wild Fan and love the way Clutterbut gives his all. I still see the Wild falling short of any hopes for winning a Stanley Cup this year, just like every other year.
